Finding my alignment

For over 15 years, I worked hard in the renewable energy industry, a field I enjoyed and wanted to grow in. I loved the analysis, the mission, the people.
But I was constantly giving 110%. Not knowing how to work differently, I’d quietly burn out and have to change roles or step back just to recover.It became a cycle: hustle → burnout → repeat.The stress caught up with me
When I returned to work after maternity leave, everything had changed - my life, my identity, and what I needed from my work. And I freaked out, because so much of my identity was tied to how well I performed.
I still wanted to be a working mom. I still cared about my career. But the way I had always worked - overgiving, overfunctioning - was no longer possible.The pace, the pressure, the internal noise of being a corporate high-performer, managing expectations at work and home, caught up with me.And for the first time, I couldn’t push through.A new way to be successful
That frustration, shame, misalignment became data. I stopped overriding it and started listening.

Phase I Outline

Session 1: Introduction
We start with an introduction to the 3x3 framework and the Wheel of Life - two structured tools designed to help you see the full picture, raise your self-awareness, and clarify what fulfillment actually looks like for you.
Sessions 2, 3, 4: Wheel of Life
Through the Wheel of Life, we look at your relationships, well-being, lifestyle, and career - not to measure success by external standards, but to get honest about what’s satisfying, what’s missing, and your intentions moving forward. Gradually, we bring to light what success means to you.
Sessions 5: Vision Setting
I provide a visual summary of the intentions that came through the Wheel of Life exercise so we can bring clarity to your vision. As we review the vision you hold for your life - across relationships, career, lifestyle, and wellbeing - we start uncovering the patterns, pressures, and beliefs that may be standing in the way and create space to shift the default programming that may no longer be serving you.
Session 6: Next Steps
We identify clear, accessible next steps to help you move forward in alignment with your vision. With the groundwork laid, we explore whether Phase II could help you stay connected to your vision and navigate what comes next with intention and clarity.
In Every Session
We’ll address any real-time challenges and I'll introduce personalized tools to bring relief and clarity along the way. You’ll be supported in showing up fully, without self-negotiation or minimizing your truth.

Phase II is about updating how you make decisions and take action, so your choices feel more intentional, aligned, and fulfilling.
Alignment is not a one and done. It's a practice we work on together, from one real life decision to the next, so your attention is able to flow where you intend it to. As we work together, new experiences, new data points show up, and we consistently use that as information to refine your vision and help you evaluate your decisions.

Sessions 1–3: Discovery & Growth
We'll examine the actions you've taken in Phase I to see what’s working, what’s draining, and why. You’ll start recognizing the data in your emotions, noticing when your thoughts need redirecting, and accessing the freedom you already have to choose differently.
Sessions 4–9: Integration & Momentum
As change unfolds, resistance often shows up - internally or in your environment. Instead of pushing through, and falling back to what you "should" do, we value these moments as important data points. Together, we adjust and refine the work in real time, a skill you’ll carry with you long after the program ends.
Sessions 10–12: Sustaining Alignment
We reinforce what’s working and expand your capacity to stay aligned. You’ll leave with clear strategies, captured in your Journey Log and 3x3 Framework, your personal cheat sheet to pause, reset, and continue making choices that truly fit.

3x3 Framework

Th 3x3 framework is based on the premise that burnout happens as result of trying to keep up with other people's expectations at the expense of your own needs and desires. It's not just about doing too much, it's about doing too much that doesn't fill your cup. On the other hand, joy, energy, and fulfillment come as a result of embracing who you are and acting in alignment with your genuine intentions.We work using 3 pillars of your life experience:
1. your thoughts,
2. your actions, and
3. your feelings.
And since any method's effectiveness depends on your state of mind, we customize the prompts and exercises to your 3 different states of being:
1. the aligned state,
2. the autopilot state, and
3. the conflicted state.
Most of the work we do is centered around updating your habits of thought and action in the autopilot state. The more your autopilot thoughts and actions are aligned with who you are, the easier it is to get to the aligned state - a state of joy, energy, fulfilment, creativity and performance.


The starting point

You’re working really hard, trying to surpass expectations, pushing through any challenges, and making sure everything is ok for everyone else. You're providing for your immediate family while trying to support your family of origin, you're spending long stressful hours at work doing everything you can for your boss and coworkers, you're showing up the best you can for all your social obligations, and you're trying to look good while doing it all.You’re “fine” but you’re anxious and frustrated. Do you stop? No, you keep going, coz you still can.This is what I call the Hustle-Burnout Cycle. You're go-go-go when you're in your autopilot mode, truly believing your worth is dependent on you exceeding other people's expectations. And then you might find you're only deserving to stop once you're overwhelmed, exhausted, or sick. But you quickly cycle back - as soon as you feel better - you're back to hustling, scrambling, running on fumes. From time to time you feel joy and light-hearted, but it's often left to chance and feels very fleeting.No wonder you keep feeling disillusioned, I doubt this pattern aligns with the vision you hold for you life. You’re running on programming and habits that were instilled in you a long time ago. Ones that might have been successful at one point in your life, but are now leading you to exhaustion over and over again.This is where most of my clients start.

The 3 States of BeingLevel 1 (L1) - Aligned State is the state of joy, energy, fulfillment, creativity, and performance.
We update your experience of this state from one where you are preemptively limiting your joy to one where you embrace your flow and inspiration.
Level 2 (L2) - Autopilot State is where we spend most of our time, going about our day.
We update your experience of this state from one where you default to hustling to one where you embrace your desires and intentions.
Level 3 (L3) - Conflicted State is the state of exhaustion where everything feels impossible.
We update your experience of this state from one where you are hard on yourself and others to one where you embrace your needs and intuition.
We all move regularly through these different states and can feel ourself as we are trending to a higher or lower state of being.Most of us spend most of our time in L2 - the autopilot state. If your thoughts and actions in the autopilot state are mostly aligned to your interpretation of others' expectations and misaligned with your own needs and desires, you will likely keeping trending toward L3 - the conflicted state, feeling exhausted and overwhelmed, amongst other feelings. Even when you're running your hustle-burnout programming, I'm sure you still experience L1 - the state of joy, fulfillment, and bursts of energy. But I bet it often feels like it's left to chance and there is a looming limit, you could simply lose that feeling at any moment.We update your thoughts and actions to reflect that you can use the time you are in L1 to expand your thoughts so you can uncover new actionable ideas, make productive changes, and be present to what you enjoy.L1 tends to be a very creative and high performing state, in addition to being one of joy, energy, and fulfillment.

The Autopilot State

From focused on "should do" to embracing your desires

Most of us spend most of our time here - we are designed this way. Depending on what we are busy doing in L2, the unconscious habits we have, we will find ourselves more often in L1 or L3.I guide you as you tune into and embrace your desires so you can learn how to bring those to the table, while understanding your fears and limiting beliefs. This is not about over-designing your life, but instead about tuning into the design specs that you already have in mind. This is also not about what you're "supposed" to want, but about what truly makes you smile. Knowing what you truly want can feel nebulous, in which case we start by understanding what you don't want.The more you run programming that aligns with what you want to experience in life, the more you will find relief and naturally raise into L1, preventing burnout and finding fulfillment along the way.


Updating Level 3
The Conflicted State

From being critical to embracing your needs

L3 happens when we have been in breach for too long. This is the state of overwhelm, exhaustion, disillusionment, anger, shame, amongst other feelings. Once burnt out from hustling too long, the tendency in the Hustle-Burnout Matrix is to become very critical of ourself or of others.The work we do here is to reconnect with your needs, more often whispered by your intuition than familiar to your consciousness. Following that intuition helps provide some rejuvenation so you can get back to L2 or L1 and do the things you love.Unlike L1, which is an incredibly preforming state of being, everything is messy and difficult in L3 - so we avoid problem solving, and instead focus on R&R, which can take anywhere from a couple breaths to several days.

What is the difference between a coach and a therapist?

We are fortunate to have so many professions dedicated to our mental wellbeing. My favorite analogy is to compare a coach to a personal trainer, and a therapist to a doctor. If your ankle is broken, you will likely see a doctor. But after the surgery, to strengthen the muscles around your ankle, you would work with a personal trainer.A coach for your mental health is like a personal trainer for your physical health. A coach helps you strengthen your mental muscles so you can achieve the goals you hold for your life, even though things might seem "ok" or "fine" from the outside.

What do you mean by holistic?

At 9 coaching, “holistic” means two things:What we cover: We look at the whole of your life: career, relationships, well-being, and lifestyle, not in isolation, but as interconnected parts of your experience. Because what’s happening in one area often affects the others.How we cover it: We work across your feelings, thoughts, and actions. Your emotions offer data, your thoughts shape decisions, and your actions create momentum. Together, they give a full picture - and a powerful way to create lasting change that reflects the vision you hold for your life.This approach is what makes the work deeply personalized and effective - not just in theory, but in your real life.

Won't I just be selfish if I embrace my intentions?

I love this question. It's an opportunity for me to talk about the creativity that arises when you consider your intuition, your inner guidance, your inner wisdom that expresses itself through your needs and desires. By tuning into your inner voice, you can start bringing in a new flavour to your relationships, your work, your health, and other areas of your life. I like to think of the whispers of that inner voice as new data points, as design specs, that you can add to the other design specs that exist in your life. And yes, sometimes, there is conflicting interests - which is were the help of a professional coach really comes in handy. For most of my clients, the reality has been that discovering what they want to experience and then suggesting that to their loved ones & finding out what they want to focus on at work and suggesting that to their manager, has yielded wonderful results, acceptance, open communication, and routes to fulfillment and joy. There is often more freedom in our life than we realize.
